Will County Hazmat Team

Homer Township Fire Protection District has established a Hazardous Materials Team compiled of department members.  The Team consists of members trained in the response to hazardous material (HazMat) incidents.  These highly trained personnel respond to incidents in handling complex chemical spills and releases.  Our team has responders trained at the operations, technician, and incident command levels.  The Department is just not limited to just our HazMat response, but also utilizes Will County EMA S.H.O.T. (Special Hazards & Operations Team) and MABAS Response.
