| Homer Fire District recently constructed
their third station. The station known as Station 3 will be located on 151st
St. between Farrell and Gougar Roads. The station was manned on August 1,
2002. The District received a grant for $350,000.00 for the construction of this station. The members and Trustees of the Homer Township Fire Protection District have worked on this station, from putting in cable for phones, computers and alert systems to putting up the brick and stonework. By doing this, we saved the taxpayers money on the station, and it is our way to say thank you to our citizens for all their support. |
